Electro-Mechanical Commissioning Engineer (M/F)

Our client is a major company operating abroad. We are looking for a Electro-Mechanical Commissioning Engineer (M/F) to reinforce their organization.

The Electro-Mechanical commissioning engineer shall be the focal person for the technical knowledge of the site water systems:

| Responsible for the pre-commissioning steps before introducing water into the systems
| Get the As Mades from the PSMs (in parallel these files are delivered to the project engineer).
| Compare the hydraulic profile – designed Vs actual and verify pressures within the ranges of the installed piping and accessories
| Check that the As Made conforms with the design.
| Check the WTP activities and confirm that they were done properly
| Approve the acceptance check list before it is delivered from the PSM to the contractor
| Responsible to implement the lessons learned on each system to similar systems in other villages and keep the PM and PSMs informed about technical problems and improvements.
| Responsible for the lines washing and pressure tests for the first systems in each province,
| Commissioning of the first systems in each province
| Training the PSMs to perform the lines washing, tests and systems commissioning.
| Manage the punch lists of each village until it is fully covered and done.
| Hand over to the O&M and the local operators – incl. simplest operation manual (with photos).

Work based in Angola

Requirement:
| Mechanical engineer with hand-on experience of drinking water systems operation and commissioning (preferred in rural areas);
| Native Portuguese speaker and excellent English speaker (technical writing and speaking);
| Planning and managerial skills;
| Technical writing skills.
